Mark has been at Jeffersonville for 22 years first as a French teacher and now as the Behavior Intervention Coordinator. He has been the head boys Cross Country Coach at Jeff for 16 years. He has coached track for 21 years, 8 as an assistant and the last 13 as the head boys track coach. He also doubled one year as the head girls coach. Mark is retiring from track coaching this spring to devote time to Photo Finish Timing.
Ed retired from 37 years of teaching math and computer science in the Greater Clark County School System in 2010. He spent 18 of those years coaching. He coached the boys and girls cross country teams at Parkview Middle School for 7 years and was the girls head track coach for 6 years. At Jeffersonville High School, he was an assistant boys track coach for 11 years and the head boys cross country coach for 10 years. Upon retiring from coaching, Ed ran the Hy-Tek computer software at Jeff home track meets for about 10 years.
Tom Kendall will end his 37 year coaching career this spring to devote his time to Photo Finish Timing. Tom began his coaching career at Parkview Middle School where he taught for 38 years. He was an assistant football coach for 4 years and the head football coach for 3 years. He then became an assistant football coach at Jeffersonville High School. Concurrently, he was an assistant track coach at Parkview and the head coach for 3 years. During this time he was also the athletic director at Parkview for three years. Starting in 1988, Tom moved his coaching to Scottsburg High School where he was an assistant track coach specializing in the pole vault for 10 years before serving as the head coach for three years. Moving to Jeffersonville, Tom has served as the head girls cross country coach for 13 years (1 as head boys coach) and the head girls track coach for 9 years. For the past 4 years, Tom has been an assistant track coach for the boys and girls. He coaches the pole vaulters and the distance runners.
